Promoting Health & Wellness for Our Community & World

Wellness Works Transitional Living Center (TLC)

In the second half of 2018, Wellness Works began making one of its early dreams come true by leasing a suitable facility for a transitional housing project in Wasilla. We moved into the 4-plex off Bogard Road on September 19th, and began taking new clients in October. The 4-plex consists of 3-bedroom/2-bath units with a 4-car undivided garage on a large lot with plenty of parking. We have been providing safe, clean, warm housing for people in transition, starting over, and/or waiting for permanent housing at other facilities. If you would like to know more about the Transitional Living Center (TLC), give Cindy a call at (907) 244-5400.

Wellness Works Welcomes Community Partnerships!

Wellness Works welcomes the opportunity to partner with other community programs and nonprofits where we can provide assistance and expand the scope of services to better address the needs in our community. Through community action and coordination, we believe these types of programs will result in a win/win for our clients and for the community as a whole. If you or someone you know needs assistance or support, please contact us. If we cannot provide direct support or assistance, we will reach out to one of our partners and/or refer you to a community organization or agency that can help. If you are an organization with a cause that aligns with Wellness Works’ charter and would be interested in partnering with us, please give us a call. We welcome the opportunity to partner with other organizations in meeting the needs of the community, fundraising, and reaching other mutual goals that benefit the community as a whole.

    • Hello, Barbara:

Your email came back undeliverable, so I am pasting the content of my response to you here. I hope you receive this. Please do not hesitate to call if I can be of further assistance.

      Hi, Barbara:

Thank you for your inquiry. I see your organization has four sites nationwide, one of which is in Wasilla. I appreciate you reaching out to us. We are also located in Wasilla off Bogard Road.

Wellness Works Transitional Living Center (TLC) is a transitional housing solution for people who are trying to get on their feet. We have people in our program who are homeless, ex-offenders, young adults who don’t earn enough and/or need to learn additional skills to live on their own, people who are waiting to get into in-patient treatment, court-appointed for various reasons, and medically handicapped. We provide a warm, safe environment and transportation if needed so these people can concentrate on doing what they need to do to become self-sufficient.

I have attached our brochure for your review. If we can be of assistance to you or your organization, please do not hesitate to contact me.

      Warm regards,

      Cindy S. Carl
